Product Overview

Slow offers a collection of crystalline ambient pads and soundscapes designed for atmospheric and cinematic music. The library features a range of serene pads, feedbacking tones, and noise textures, all crafted to evoke emotion and depth. It is built on a three-layer engine that allows for extensive customization, making it suitable for both subtle and expansive sound design.

Details

The library includes 63 sounds organized into two categories: Tonal and Textures. The Tonal category consists of single-note instruments, often with lush high frequencies and rich overtones, while the Textures category provides various noise sounds intended to layer with the tonal elements. Each sound can be processed with envelopes, filters, LFOs, and a suite of effects, including delay, reverb, and distortion, allowing for detailed sound shaping.

With 100 categorized presets across six folders—Basses, FX, Keys, Noise Textures, Pads, and Pulsers—Slow is versatile enough to serve various roles beyond ambient pads, such as filling out low-end frequencies or adding haunting textures. The presets are designed to be easily tweaked or used as-is, facilitating quick integration into compositions.

Inspired by ambient music pioneers, Slow captures a breathless multitimbral quality, making it a useful tool for creating immersive soundscapes. The library runs inside the Floe engine, which supports full MIDI automation and offers keyboard splitting with zone layering options, enhancing its usability for composers working in ambient and cinematic contexts.
