Product Overview

Glade combines orchestral and world instruments into a versatile writing tool, featuring strings, winds, vocals, chimes, percussion, and field recordings. The library is designed for expressive layering, allowing composers to create rich textures and harmonies that feel performed rather than sampled.

Details

The library includes a four-layer designer interface, enabling users to stack up to four different sound sources, such as orchestral strings and world-based textures. Macro controls allow for dynamic shaping of sound, transforming static chords into evolving musical phrases. With over 80 curated presets, composers can quickly find starting points for their projects. Each layer can be shaped with EQ, filters, envelopes, and effects, facilitating a smooth transition from sketch to finished cue.

Glade features a selection of 19 instruments, including high and low strings, woodwinds, and unique world instruments like the duduk and fujara. Each instrument is recorded in detail, ensuring a usable sound right out of the box. The library offers two versions: Glade, which includes essential mixes, and Glade Studio, which provides additional mic positions for more control. Both versions maintain high quality and performance without compromising on features.

Overall, Glade is suited for a variety of scoring contexts, including film, trailers, games, and electronic music, providing a balance of traditional orchestral sounds and adventurous world elements.
